My favorite artist for the past couple weeks (which changes frequently), Stuart Shils. Within a fairly simple statement there is a wonderful energy and sense of immediacy, incredible atmosphere, emotion, and mood, great palette...nice. Here is Stuart Shils' website.

Thanks for posting this link to Stuart Shils. His urban oils are incredible-- masterful compositions and color combinations. Following the link to the The Jerusalem Studio School there is a fascinating, insightful interview with him-- inspiring and thought provoking.
